When Scott met Brianna, he just knew. He knew he loved everything there was to love about her. He knew she made him feel like he was the luckiest guy in the world. He knew he was going to make her his wife.
I remember when Scott introduced my husband and I to Bri for the first time. We met up with them a few years ago at a local Vietnamese restaurant and had a wonderful time getting to know Bri; the mystery girl we’d heard so much about. Scott was smitten by her. I think at that time he already knew that she was the one.
Years later, I found myself spending the weekend at the beautiful Crown Isle Resort, ready and excited to photograph Bri and Scott’s wedding. It was a hot May day on Vancouver Island. Scott and his buddies were bustling about the lush grounds, getting ready for their early morning tee off, while the girls were getting pampered by hair and makeup. Bri was as calm, cool and collected as she could be. After months of heavy planning, she had let the bull go by it’s horns – this day was going to be perfect whether the plans panned out or not. She was there to marry her man. As long as that happened, everything else would just simply fall into place. And fall into place they did. Vows were said, tears were shed, speeches were spoken and laughter had broken. Anxious to get the party started, the new Mr. and Mrs. Bickerton did just that. With all of their family and friends, Bri and Scott stuck closely by one another’s side and danced the night away. They held each other tightly, as if they would never let go.
Thank you for letting me witness again what true love is all about. Treat each other with the respect that you do and never let that spark that we all see between you die. Wishing my friends a happy and healthy marriage together, forever. -KB

Scott’s support has been there for him since he was a kid… now they are all grown up and helping him kick the nerves with a little scotch.
Emotions ran high during the ceremony. Scott’s mom couldn’t help but shed a few tears during her son’s vows.traditional
After a long day, everyone was ready to let loose and enjoy the party Bri, Scott and the Crown Isle Resort team had planned for them.
Thank you so much for being such great friends to Mike and me. I know Mike was honoured to stand beside you, Scott, as one of your groomsmen and I was beyond thrilled to be there to document your entire day for both of you.
