I met Taylor and Trevor almost a year ago for their engagement session at Milner Gardens (click here if you missed it!). They tried to convince me that they weren’t photogenic. I wasn’t sure if this was something that gorgeous couples say just to make us not so good looking people feel better about ourselves, or if they actually truly meant it. After only knowing Taylor and Trevor for a short amount of time, I learned that they were sincerely modest people. Their ravishing exterior complemented their charming interiors to a tee.
It wasn’t just me that was fascinated with the bride and groom. Family and friends traveled from all over Vancouver Island to watch Taylor and Trevor tie the knot at the finest venue in Parksville; the Beach Club Resort.
Taylor, her grandma and a few of her closest girls prepped at an ocean view suite. She warned me that she was a crier and that it would take everything in her power to hold back the happy tears that were continuously forming. At the other end of the Beach Club was where I found the anxious groom, who was clearly head-over-heels for his future wife.
The wind picked up, the rain began to fall, tents were assembled and time started passing at an uncontrollable rate. Guests gathered at the resort’s restaurant patio which overlooked Parksville Community Beach. “I dos” were said, kisses were had and papers were signed. Next it was time to celebrate the marriage of Taylor and Trevor by photographing them at the beach just outside the Beach Club and then at Top Bridge Park. I guided them through some posing but let their love for one another work it’s magic which resulted in some stunning images.
From the bottom of my heart, I am wishing you guys an incredible life as husband and wife. It is evident that you two are destined to be together. Everyone in this world wants what you have. Treasure it. -Much Love, KBxo
